Quanzhou Normal University offers the following to foreign teachers:
1. Remuneration of RMB 3500-5,000 per month depending on your qualification and teaching experience, calculated over 10 months per year. (The average cost of living in Quanzhou for local people per person is about RMB 500 yuan per month, for foreigner you can have a decent living on RMB 1000-1500 yuan per month since housing is free.) ;
2. Extra income if you work more hours (The University usually provides 5-15extra periods every week. The University pays 100RMB per period); Actually most teachers would have an average 7000-10,000 RMB income every month by teaching more than 24 periods per week.
3. Free additional allowance of RMB 2200 per year(one-year contract) for holiday travel;
4. Free one round trip airline ticket at the end of the contract year (one year contract);
5. Free private apartment/flat( 1-3 bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen and one bathroom) on campus furnished with a personal computer, air-conditioner, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, water dispenser, telephone, beddings and cooking facilities;
6. Free accident insurance
7. Picking up from the airport within the province.

Teachers who have good business background and can teach more than two subjects will be preferred
We are looking for foreign teachers who will give
1. give English or Japanese speaking and listening lessons;
2. give English and American literature and writing;
3. give business, management and financial majoring lessons in English ;
4. teach about 14 – 18 hours per week;
5. stay for at least one term; (Spring term is from February to July and Autumn term is from September to February) :
6. have advanced educational background higher than an undergraduate degree.

Quanzhou Normal University is a comprehensive institution of higher education whose primary objectives are to develop the creative intellectual potential of its students and to foster in them professional skills and a sense of social responsibility. The university works in a system focusing on teachers training, special education training and professional training either before or after career.
Quanzhou Normal University is situated at Quanzhou -----a well–known historic cultural city and the famous hometown of the Overseas Chinese. The school has three campuses; Chongfu Campus, Donghai Campus and Shishan Campus. Chongfu Campus is at the food of southern Qingyuan Mountain, which is a scenic spot of national rank. Donghai Campus sits at the crossing of Jinjiang River and Luoyangjiang River. The environment is fascinating along the mountains facing the sea with a view of the ancient bay. Shishan Campus has the famous Gaogai Mount at the south, viewing the Pengfeng scenery at the north.
Quanzhou Normal University serves more than 10,000 students and offers almost 100 programs of study in nine schools. In addition, the University owns ten scientific research institutes (centers) and a software talents training base. The whole staff is over 1000 with a teaching team of 600 including 180 professors and associate professors. The school occupies a space of 1300 Mu (over 86 hectares). The library has contained more than one million books and reference materials and 800,000 electric books.
Quanzhou Normal University becomes well-known for its open and diverse policy. Quanzhou Normal University has set up distant education tutoring centers for the joint programs with prestigious universities such as Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal university and Zhejiang University for about twenty-three majors of bachelor courses covering eight academic fields.
