We are currently looking for two Full-time kindergarten teachers to start teaching in May.

The position is for TMC Educational Group, a Singaporean based company promoting innovative early childhood educational programs in China. The Shenyang branch is known as Shenyang Creative Kindergarten, and has become the prominent high quality kindergarten in the city. They are headed by both a Foreign and a Chinese Principal, both who have equal say in the running of the school. Their curriculum is emergent with a dual language program, English / Chinese. A combination of the pedagogies of Bruner, Piaget, Vygotsky and the schools of Reggio Emilia inform our practice

Unlike most English teaching jobs in China, we are looking for real professionals. As a teacher at our school you will split your time between only two classrooms, enabling you to really get to know your students. You will be teaching in a highly immersive environment for the students, and will have input into the teaching methods, styles, and textbooks. You will teach a normal schedule on the weekdays, rather than the weeknights or weekends that most private schools require. We are looking for serious teachers, coming here to make a difference in the life of their students, not just some young person with no experience coming to hang out in China.

Applications will be assessed according to the following criterion:

*One of any of the following: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood), or Diploma of Social Sciences (TAFE). Other equivalent degrees or experience will be considered as well.
*Minimum of two years experience working with children & their families.
*Sound understanding of child development and ability to translate knowledge to practice.
*Ability to develop, establish, implement, and evaluate learning centers.
*Attitudes that demonstrate a valuing to working with bi-lingual staff, children and families
*Willingness to work within a dynamic environment and demonstrate high quality practice.
*Demonstrated commitment to Early Childhood profession
*Ability to commit to a minimum of one year contact.
*Must be a native speaker of English from U.S.A., England, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand.

Salary Package

$8000RMB per month (about $1000 USD)

One month's pay ($8000 RMB) upon successful completion of 12 months contract.

Accommodation is reimbursed as 800 RMB per month, although shared housing is provided until you find a place that suits you.

Return airfare, visa application and associated costs of medical and residency permit provided.

Working conditions

40 hours per week (Mostly Monday to Friday, with some weekend media events). Teachers are also required to do several media events per month, most of which will be during school hours.

4 weeks holiday + Chinese national holidays

12 days sick leave (with doctors note, or checkup by school nurse)

Lunch provided

Staff are needed for terms that start in May and July.
