*********As you can tell by the subject banner, I am looking for teachers for a challenging program beginning this fall. It will be an immersion-type program in an elementary school minutes north of Tainan, Taiwan. Though the details have yet to be finalized, expect the following as potentials:

1) Work Visa available

2) Teachers would cover a variety of subjects (science, English, art, history, ....). Many of these, though perhaps not all of them.

3) Standard schoolday-type hours: mornings and afternoons. Many breaks, of course.

4) Competitive salaries, full-time pay (similar to buxiban)

5) 1 or 2 year contract.

a) There will be more than one job available. It looks like some part-time hours would begin this summer. Full-time positions start in September. It doesn't need to be the same teacher.

b) Minimum requirements are an education degree OR a one or two-year Second Language teaching certificate.

This is a job for a real teacher, somebody who would like to challenge themselves to move beyond teaching excruciatingly boring material like "Let's Go" for the tenth year in a row. Teaching certification IS required, either a full education degree or a TESOL certificate. Anybody familiar with other immersion programs should expect much the same. I've substituted this kind of job before, they really are prime positions. Don't hesitate to e-mail any questions to me, as we are still putting the framework in place. Your suggestions would help.
