The city of Wuxi, known as "the Pearl on Lake Taihu" is a satellite city of Shanghai, the central coastal hub of East China and business centre of the country.

Wuxi Guanghua Private School is located close to the lakeside and near the well-known scenic area of Meiyuan, "the Plum Garden". Set on a lush green campus, the school has undergone major developments since 1995 and is now one of the biggest schools in China. It has gained the distinction of being the only private school to be listed in State Ministry of Education's publication, "50 years of Educational Achievement in the New China".

It is a boarding school with 15 grades from kindergarten to senior high school level with a student population of 6000 and a faculty of 1100, which includes 40 to 60 foreign teachers. With a campus area of 613 mu (about 43 hectares) and a building area of 200,000 m2, the aggregate investment totals 400 million Yuan.

In 2003 the school established the International Department, which currently focuses mainly on providing A-level courses of the Cambridge International Examinations for students who have finished junior middle school studies and are planning on going abroad upon completion of their A-level examinations at the school.

Now the school set up a new brach school for the training department,so we also need teachers who are qualified for the training both at school and outside.

Each school year, the school needs to recruit 20 to 40 native English-speaking teachers, 3 to 5 of whom are to respectively teach A-level maths, physics, chemistry and economics.

Air fare (RMB): round trip (maximum US$850)

Travel allowance (RMB): 2200 on completion of the contract

Medical allowance (RMB): 2000 on completion of the contract

Monthly telephone allowance (RMB): local calls are free

Free Chinese language and Kungfu courses: 4 class hours per week
