FVCEC is a registered Canadian company located at British Columbia, Canada. We cooperate with Harbin school board (Harbin is the capital city of Heilongjiang province, China), to recruit potential ESL teachers to fill positions in primary and middle schools or English training schools across Heilongjiang province. Also, we offer ESL teacher positions in our own registered English language institute in Harbin. We have been dealing directly with the Headquarters of major high schools as well as primary schools for years. Our clients are reputable employers and they are looking for individuals who share an enthusiasm for teaching and an interest in exploring oriental culture. Opportunities to teach at the schools are based on Chinese school term – March to June and September to December. Between these two terms, teachers will have perfect chance to travel across the wonderful country of China. There also will be some opportunities to be camp coordinator during the break. Qualifications / Skills Needed

A post-secondary degree/diploma of any field is a must. Teaching experience is not necessary but any TEFL/TESL certificate will bring you more chances while competing with other candidates. Higher education background, such as Master or PHD, with experienced skills person will be offered with higher salary. Applicants should be native English speakers, enthusiastic about teaching, enjoying teaching kids and teenagers (age from 6 – 18, some are adults).

Salary / Pay: Job description
1. Salary: 7 – 12 CND / hours (depends on experience)
2. Working hours: at least 80 hours per month (if its there is less than 80 hours requirements from school, we will still pay you as 80 hours).
3. We arrange accommodation but you have to pay. Normally accommodation and food will be 100- 120 CND per month around the area.
4. Air tickets could be claimed after each semester. At the end of the first semester half of your round trip tickets fare can be claimed, the rest of it could be claimed at the end of the second semester.
5. Summer semester: 1st September - 25th December; Spring semester: 1st March - 25th June
6. No health insurance provided.
7. Job location: At or near Harbin city, northern China.
8. Part time teaching opportunities will be available during the break of two semesters.
9. Low tax deduction.
10. Holidays: official holidays, usually includes May break and October break, 7 days each.
11. Training: first week will be free training week.
