Zhejiang Forestry University is looking for 5 native English speakers to teach English from September 1st 2005. Preferably the English teachers will come from the U.S, U.K., Australia or Canada.

Located in Lin’an, situated in the western suburbs of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Forestry University is a world class facility boasting modern facilities and beautiful environment. Lin’an is surrounded by mountains and natural wonders, which you can explore in your free time. If you are wanting to see more of China, Lin’an is a great place to use as a home base. Only 3 hours west of Shanghai, 3 hours Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain), 2 hours from Tai Hu (Tai Lake), and 4 hours from Nanjing, you will find you are in a prime position for travel to some of China’s greatest cities and natural wonders.

The University will offer:
1. A generous salary of 3500 – 4300yuan/month (16 periods a week), depending on qualifications and/or experience. Any extra periods of teaching will attract extra pay.
2. Free fully furnished apartment, with necessary living facilities (e.g., water heater, air conditioner, refrigerator, kitchen amenities, telephone, TV, ASDL internet connection, etc…)
3. Reimbursed International return air ticket of up to RMB7000yuan for a 1 year contract.
4. Travel allowance of RMB2200yuan for a 1 year contract.
5. The University will cover the first RMB100yuan of the water and electricity bill per month, and the first RMB100yuan of the telephone bill per month.
