Dear prospective English schools,

I am half of a Canadian couple posting our resumes with the desire to teach English overseas.

We possess diverse educational backgrounds focused primarily in the liberal arts. Kate studied Political Science at the University of Alberta, and was awarded teaching certification through the Global TESOL program in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Gregory is a graduate of the Bachelor of Design program at the University of Alberta with additional course work toward a BSc after degree in the physical sciences with a minor in philosophy.

Throughout our educational experience and extracurricular endeavors we have both worked extensively teaching children as well as adults. As program director of the Boys and Girls club of Edmonton, Kate has developed and coordinated programs to facilitate the learning, and growth of 200 students. Gregory is experienced facilitating the organization of clinical skills sessions and examinations for University of Alberta’s Undergraduate Medical program. As part of the University of Alberta Solar Vehicle Project’s educational team Gregory is also experienced teaching children; touring schools to educate students about sustainable energy alternatives. We also both have a broad range of successful experience teaching and organizing adults in team-oriented projects through our leadership roles in environmental, humanitarian and arts organizations such as: the Australian Trust for Conservation, Public Outreach of Canada, and Global Visions.

We are excited to learn about new cultures and to learn new languages. We are confident that we would be of immense benefit to the students and teaching quality of any organization.
