1 Opening in Taichung County

One opening in Taichung County is available in a private high school. The teacher teaching time is from 8: 00-5:00. The total teaching time is 23 hours a week and there will be 17 hours as office time. There are 25 students in each class and they are either Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. The salary is 55,000 NT working from 8:00-5:00. The salary can be earned up to 75,000NT for after the hour review courses open either at school or local cram schools at night. The school provides ARC, health insurance, and working permit. There is a 1000NT attendance bonus each month and the renewal contract bonus is 10,000NT. The holidays are according to the school’s calendar. The school will provide a curriculum There is a mandatory summer session that starts on August 1st and the school starts on September 1st.

1 Opening in Taichung
There is one opening in a Taichung cram school for adults. The school is a highly organized institution that prepares people to study in England. The teacher is preferably English, or the teacher must have experience in teaching FCE and/ or above, or IELS or BEC. It would be better if the teacher has a certificate with UCLES or British Council to act as an oral examiner. The salary is 63,000 NT, and there is a 1000NT attendance bonus each month and a renewal contract bonus 10,000NT. The teaching hours is 6:30 pm to 9: 30 pm from Monday to Friday and there will be teaching hours on Saturday and Sunday. The total teaching hour is 20 hours a week. The office hour is 17 hours. There are only two vacation weeks in the school year.

1 Immediate Opening in Taichung

There is one opening in a Taichung cram school for children. There are a maximum number of 12 students in each class. The teacher must come before 7/ 10 because the school starts on that day. The teacher is preferably American or Canadian and majors in either Education or English. The teacher must be between the ages of 27 and 35. The work hour is from 1:00pm to 9:00 pm. The teaching hour is 25 hours a week and the office hour is 15 hours a week. The salary is 60,000NT per month, and there is a 1000NT attendance bonus each month and a renewal contract bonus 10,000NT. 10 Job Positions in July, Taichung
A high-school in Taichung is looking for 10 foreign teachers. Teachers’ teaching time can be arranged from 8:00AM – 5:00 PM for five or six hours per day. The hourly payment is NT$600. The monthly salary is from 60000 – 75000 NT. The school provides ARC, health insurance, and paid vacation.

30 Openings in mid-August, Hsinchu (Applicants must have an English major or the Teacher’s Certificate)
Public Elementary schools in Hsinchu/Taiwan are looking for foreign ESL teachers in the upcoming fall semester. Applicants must hold the teachers’ certificate which qualifies them to teach in their hometown. The training will start in mid-August. All teachers have to arrive in Taiwan no later than Aug. 10th. The salary ranges from 65,000 - 75,000 NT per month and the work time is from 7:50 AM to 4:00 PM. The The hired teacher will be provided working permit/ARC, accidental insurance, health insurance, and 3 week paid vacation. In addition, after completing the yearly (10 month period) contract, the teacher will receive a complete contract bonus for the amount of 40,000NT. The class size is 30~35 students. There are two teachers in the classroom at the same time. Foreign ESL teacher is the leading English teacher, while the other Chinese English teacher will assist.

5 Immediate Openings, Hsinchuang (Taipei County)
A prestigious school with thousands of students in Hsinchuang, Taipei is looking for at least 5 ESL teachers due to the school expansion. There is no age limit, gender or nationality restriction. If you are culturally open-minded, very responsible, and can work in a group setting, you are welcome to apply for these teaching positions.

The starting salary is 55,000 NT for the first month. The raise and performance bonus will be evaluated after the probation time. The school provides ARC, health insurance and accommodation. Air-ticket and renewal contract bonus will be awarded after the teacher fulfils the one year contract.

School in Miaoli is looking for 3 ESL teachers. Friendly working environment with structured curriculum and supportive administration. Work time is from 3:00~9:00 PM. Monthly salary is 50000 NT with provided accommodation, or 55000 NT. Raise after three months. Health Insurance, working permit/ARC, curriculum and training are provided. Around 10 students in a class.

1 Job Position in June, Tainan
A school in Tainan is opening a full time job for a foreign teacher in mid-June. The school prefers teacher coming from either Canada or US. Age from 20 to 25 is preferred. University degree and TEFL or TESL certificate is required. We welcome you if you have North America accent and have l~2 years of teaching experience. This is a new school in Tainan that contains l00-50 students in total; the students age from 9 to adult. Your work time is from 2:30pm to 9:30pm from Mon. to Fri. and 9:30 to 4:30 on Saturday. The class size is about 6-l0 students. In total your office hour will be 18 hours and teaching hours will be 25 hours a week. The monthly salary is from 50000-60000NT. Additional pay will be awarded if the additional teaching hours are arranged. There are also 3 other friendly foreign teachers in school. The hired teacher will be provided with Health Insurance, working permit/ARC, curriculum. In addition, there will be contract renewal bonus, full attendant bonus and paid vacation.

1 Immediate Job Opening, Pingdong
A school in Pingdong is looking for a part time teacher. The current work time is 15 hours a week. The hourly payment is 600 NT. School will provide working permit/ARC.

5 Job Positions in July, Hsinchu
5 foreign ESL teachers are needed in Northern Taiwan, Hsinchu, a culturally rich city which is located an hour either driving or by train from Taipei. Two prestigious and beautiful universities that are ranked the top three in Taiwan are located in this town too. There are also many colleges that are in this Scientific & Industrial Park area. Monthly salary is from 55,000NT to 65,000NT. The work time is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with two hours of lunch break. Working permit, ARC and health insurance are provided. Other working benefits and bonus are negotiable.

1 Job position in July, Hsinchu
One private school in Hsinchu is looking for one foreign teacher either starting on July l6 or l8. The work time is from 9:00am to 6:30pm. There are 5 foreign teachers and l50-200 students in the school. The class size is around l8 students. Curriculum will be provided and a Chinese teacher will assist you in the class. Monthly salary is NT60000 to 65000. Teaching hours are 25 hours plus l2 office hours per week. Health Insurance, working permit, ARC, and full attendance bonus will be awarded

2 Job Position in July, Jiayi
2 foreign teachers are needed in Jiayi which is a small, beautiful, and peaceful city. One ESL teacher is needed in early July, and the other is needed in mid-August.
1st ESL teacher (from July 1st for a year period): The official working time is the first of July. In July, the school has a summer camp and needs a teacher for 9-10 hours a day. The school officially starts their school year on August 15th. There will be no pay between August 1st and 15th. 2nd ESL teacher (from Aug. 15th for a year period) : During the school year, the morning session is from 9:00- 12:00, and the afternoon session is from 2:00- 6:00. The class size is about 15-20 students. The school prefers teachers coming from USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Teachers are paid by the hour about 500-600NT. The curriculum is provided.

6 Job Positions in June, Kaohsiung/Tainan/Chiayi
Schools in south need foreign teachers starting now till end of June. Applicants must be from the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The salary is from NT$50000~55000. The age of students are from 6~12. The class size is about 15 per class. There are total 100 teaching hours a month. School will pay extra if the additional hours are arranged. No teaching experience is ok. Schools provide working permit/ARC and health insurance.

l Job Position in July in Yi-Lan

A cram school in Yi-Lan is looking for one full-time teacher from the afternoon to the evening. In a classroom, there are about l0 to l6 students. The total teaching hour is l00 per month from Monday to Saturday. The total office hour is l0- l5 hours per week. There is no office hour on Saturday. The teaching hours from Monday to Friday is 4:00-9:00 and the teaching hour on Saturday is from l0:00 – l2: 00 and l:00-3:00. The salary is 60,000- 62,000. The school provided attendance bonus. The salary is negotiable after the school evaluates you and find you very experienced. If the teacher plans on teaching more, it can be arranged. Each hour is still 600NT. The teacher is preferably American or Canadian, and has teaching experience in Taiwan.
