1 Opening in Taichung City Starting on August 1st

A cram school is seeking a teacher to teach students ( age 6 to 18 ) at their cram school. The school guarantees 100 teaching hours per month. Additional and extra hours can be arranged at 500-600NT per hour. The teaching hour is 25-28 hours per week and the office hour is 15-20 hours per week. The salary for the first THREE MONTH is 50,000-55,000NT. After the first three month, also known as the probation period, the school will evaluate you and raise your salary if they see fit. The school provides you with ACCOMODATION STIPDEND, RENEWAL CONTRACT BONUS, PAID VACATION, and ACCOMODATION OFFER. The school will also provide you with working permit, ARC, health insurance, and accidental insurance. This is an offer not to be missed.

1 Opening in Taichung County

There is one opening in Taichung County at a private high school. The teacher teaching time is from 8: 00-5:00. The total teaching time is 23 hours a week and there will be 17 hours as office time. There are 25 students in each class and they are either Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. The salary is 55,000 NT working from 8:00-5:00. The salary can be earned up to 75,000NT for after the hour review courses open either at school or local cram schools at night. The school provides ARC, health insurance, and working permit. There is a 1000NT attendance bonus each month and the renewal contract bonus is 10,000NT. The holidays are according to the school’s calendar. The school will provide a curriculum There is a mandatory summer session that starts on August 1st and the school starts on September 1st.

There is one opening in a Taichung cram school for adults. The school is a highly organized institution that prepares people to study in England. The teacher is preferably English, or the teacher must have experience in teaching FCE and/ or above, or IELS or BEC. It would be better if the teacher has a certificate with UCLES or British Council to act as an oral examiner. The salary is 63,000 NT, and there is a 1000NT attendance bonus each month and a renewal contract bonus 10,000NT. The teaching hours is 6:30 pm to 9: 30 pm from Monday to Friday and there will be teaching hours on Saturday and Sunday. The total teaching hour is 20 hours a week. The office hour is 17 hours. There are only two vacation weeks in the school year.

There is one opening in a Taichung cram school for children. There are a maximum number of 12 students in each class. The teacher must come before 7/ 10 because the school starts on that day. The teacher is preferably American or Canadian and majors in either Education or English. The teacher must be between the ages of 27 and 35. The work hour is from 1:00pm to 9:00 pm. The teaching hour is 25 hours a week and the office hour is 15 hours a week. The salary is 60,000NT per month, and there is a 1000NT attendance bonus each month and a renewal contract bonus 10,000NT. 30 Openings in mid-August, Hsinchu (Applicants must have Teacher’s Certificate)
Public Elementary schools in Hsinchu/Taiwan are looking for foreign ESL teachers in the upcoming fall semester. Applicants must hold the teachers’ certificate which qualifies them to teach in their hometown. The training will start in mid-August. All teachers have to arrive in Taiwan no later than Aug. 10th. The salary ranges from 60,000 - 75,000 NT per month and the work time is from 7:50 AM to 4:00 PM. The The hired teacher will be provided working permit/ARC, accidental insurance, health insurance, and 3 week paid vacation. In addition, after completing the yearly (10 month period) contract, the teacher will receive a complete contract bonus for 15,000 NT and airfare of 25,000NT totaling to the amount of 40,000NT. The class size is 30~35 students. There are two teachers in the classroom at the same time. Foreign ESL teacher is the leading English teacher, while the other Chinese English teacher will assist. If you would like more pay, we can arrange additional teaching hours either as tutor or at a cram school.

A prestigious school with thousands of students in Hsinchuang, Taipei is looking for at least 5 ESL teachers due to the school expansion. There is no age limit, gender or nationality restriction. A school in Tainan is opening a full time job for a foreign teacher in mid-June. The school prefers teacher coming from either Canada or US. Age from 20 to 25 is preferred. University degree and TEFL or TESL certificate is required. We welcome you if you have North America accent and have l~2 years of teaching experience. This is a new school in Tainan that contains l00-50 students in total; the students age from 9 to adult. Your work time is from 2:30pm to 9:30pm from Mon. to Fri. and 9:30 to 4:30 on Saturday. The class size is about 6-l0 students. In total your office hour will be 18 hours and teaching hours will be 25 hours a week. The monthly salary is from 50000-60000NT. Additional pay will be awarded if the additional teaching hours are arranged. There are also 3 other friendly foreign teachers in school. Two prestigious and beautiful universities that are ranked the top three in Taiwan are located in this town too. There are also many colleges that are in this Scientific & Industrial Park area. Monthly salary is from 55,000NT to 65,000NT. The work time is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with two hours of lunch break. Working permit, ARC and health insurance are provided. Other working benefits and bonus are negotiable.

1 Job position in July, Hsinchu
One private school in Hsinchu is looking for one foreign teacher either starting on July l6 or l8. The work time is from 9:00am to 6:30pm. There are 5 foreign teachers and l50-200 students in the school. The class size is around l8 students. Curriculum will be provided and a Chinese teacher will assist you in the class. One job position is open in Jiayi. The cram school is looking for a female teacher to start mid to late July. In February, there is a two-week paid vacation. The school provides ARC, health insurance and working permit.

2 Full-time Job Positions in September (Teacher Certificate Required )
2 foreign teachers are needed in a Jiayi private high school. Teachers are preferably American or Canadian. In a typical week, there are 25 teaching hours and 12 office hours, totaling to 37 working hours per month. The salary is 60,000NT per month. Nevertheless, the school gives you an extra month salary as a bonus after the successful teaching completion of the school year. The school provides you with health insurance, ARC, working permit, and PAID VACATION. The working time is according to the school calendar. The materials and curriculum is provided. The teacher must arrive on September 1st.

l Job Position in July in Yi-Lan

A cram school in Yi-Lan is looking for one full-time teacher from the afternoon to the evening. In a classroom, there are about l0 to l6 students. The total teaching hour is l00 per month from Monday to Saturday. The total office hour is l0- l5 hours per week. There is no office hour on Saturday. The teaching hours from Monday to Friday is 4:00-9:00 and the teaching hour on Saturday is from l0:00 – l2: 00 and l:00-3:00. The salary is 60,000- 62,000. The school provides attendance bonus. The salary is negotiable after the school evaluates you and find you very experienced. If the teacher plans on teaching more, it can be arranged. Each hour is still 600NT. 1 Full-time position is available in Nantou. Nantou is a wonderful and unique city located right in the center of Taiwan between Taipei and Kaoshiung. It is closed to one of Taiwan’s most popular tourist sites, Sun- Moon Lake. The school has two branches ( 40 minutes apart ) and the teacher will both schools. The salary is 60,000NT, including accommodation. The working hour is from Monday to Saturday. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, the working hour is from 2:00 pm to 9: 00 pm. On Wednesday, the working hour is from 1:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, the teacher only come when there are classes. The class would be sometime from 9:00 am to 3:00pm. The total working hour is 100 hours per month, but additional hours can be arranged at 550NT per hour. There is a contract renewal bonus. The amount depends on the teacher’s attitude and performance. The teacher is preferably American or Canadian. Everything is negotiable. There are four days off, during the summertime.
