Teach English in Ma'anshan, China!

Have you ever thought of a career as an English teacher, or wanted a chance to experience the amazing culture of China? At Ma'anshan Training school we are seeking two ESL teachers for the 2005/2006 school year, beginning in September. Ma’anshan Training School is a newly founded English school situated in Anhui province, central China, which is committed to improving the level of English communication in China at all age levels. Ma'anshan is a small city for Chinese standards. Although it has some heavy industry here it a green city with many parks and lakes. Ma'anshan is only 40 minutes by bus from the large old capital city of Nanjing. Also there are a number of other foreign teachers living in the city working for other schools/universities.

Our classes are never larger than 35 students, (a rarity in China) and you will never teach more than 20 hours per week. Free Chinese language lessons, a fully furnished apartment, and a free four day trip are included along with a salary of 4000 Chinese RMB per month. At the end of the contract Ma'anshan Training School will also provide 8000 RMB for your return airfare to China.

Time spent teaching English in China is an exhilarating way to immerse yourself in the culture of this fascinating country and its people, and with 8 weeks holiday per year you will have plenty of opportunity to travel. The preferred applicants will hold a degree in any discipline, and be willing to commit to a 1 year contract. TESOL training and/or ESL experience is a definite plus.
