‘China Connexions’ is a professional service, which focuses on the professional and social needs of the ESL teacher. The principle members are Jane Fang and Ian Clark.
Jane Fang has 6 years experience in English Language Training Centre management at prestigious companies such as the Nanhai West Oil Company (Zhanjiang, Guangdong Pr.). She is committed to the welfare of the Teacher. Ian Clark is a qualified, Department for Education and Skills (DfES) trained UK teacher (Business and Economics) with an MA in Education and 7 years experience working in education in 7 different countries including various assignments and consultancies in China. His references from education leaders from around the world testify to his professional and ethical behaviour (references and UK government DfES number are available upon request).
Both Ian and Jane understand the needs of the visiting teacher and provide a comprehensive and fully professional service for FREE. The employer pays the fee and so it is in everybody’s interest that the school is matched with the teacher in every detail.

Pre-departure Services include:

Assistance with Visa and Travel Itinerary (if required);
Overnight good quality budget accommodation in a convenient city (if applicable);
Full package details, including contract, terms and conditions and ALL questions fully answered pre-departure - open access by email or telephone 7 days a week;
Contract negotiations undertaken on your behalf by professional Chinese speaking staff;

We will arrange for you to be met at your port of arrival and ensure that all your needs have been established with the employer before you arrive.

ALL employment opportunities are vetted for quality and we conduct site inspections whenever possible. In the absence of a site inspection we thoroughly discuss the vacancy with the employer to ensure a close match between applicant and potential role.

Continuing Assistance

Upon arrival China Connexions will stand-by to assist you in any way. We will continue to communicate with your employer after your arrival to ensure that you feel comfortable. In the very unlikely event of your dissatisfaction with your employment China Connexions will provide you with further options while you are in China.
