Qianhuang Senior Middle School, in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, is looking for a teacher who can start mid-November.

You will be teaching in an Australian Matriculation programme, teaching students aged 18-19 oral English. The length of the contract is negotiable. Starting salary is 4000RMB, but obviously people with TESOL or TEFL training can negotiate this. The usual stuff is provided: meals, accomodation, computer with Internet, etc.

As a teacher here, I can assure you that this school is totally legitimate and reliable and this position is an excellent opportunity, especially for all you new to the "teaching in China" experience. The staff are helpful and will make it their mission in life to make your stay here as stress-free as possible.

Changzhou is a nice city, not too big or too small (just right?) and is situated close to all the best spots in Jiangsu, such as Suzhou (1 hour by train) or Nanjing (1 and a half hours), and is also close to Shanghai (2 hours), so it's perfect for weekend trips; you'll see lots of the country without any hassle.
