I teach at a lovely little school on the east side of Seoul. A five minute walk from Gangbyeon Station. I love my students and want to help find a great teacher to take over when my contract is finished.

The hagwon is run by a Korean family. They have travelled and lived abroad and are accustomed to working with foreigners. I have never received my pay late or had any problems at work. The children I teach are terrific. They are between the ages of 7 and 15 and they work really hard.

They don't need a gloomy grammar teacher or someone to give them tests every week. They need an immersion experience - an artistic classroom with songs, crafts, English games and theatre activities. There is a curricullum provided, but if you are feeling creative you are free to introduce new ideas into the classroom. I've had so much fun with this!

The apartment is new, clean and 2 minutes from the school. The neighbourhood has everything you want including movie theatres, grocery shops, an organics store and tons of good, cheap restaurants.

We are looking for someone who:

- is creative, active and crazy about kids
- loves art, theatre and music
- is patient and kind
- has experience working with or teaching children

There are two positions available. One beginning December 19th and another beginning January 31st. I will help you get settled, introduce you to the kids and the neighbourhood.

1 year contract
M - F, 3pm to 10pm
Pay: 2.0 million won per month
Severence: Paid at end of one year, 2.0 million won
Furnished Apartment
Return Airfare or flight to Japan provided by employer
