Dajia Matsu Temple near the coast is an important holy destination. "Matsu" is the best known Goddess in Taiwan. She protect fishers from shipwrecks since old time. Taiwanese believe She not only blesses the fishers but also the whole island, give people good luck and help avoid tragedies. Every year numberless people go there on a pilgrimage. Matsu temples can be seen everywhere around Taiwan, and this DaJia one is one of the best known. It often holds parades, dragon and lion dances, in special days such as Chinese New Year or Matsu's birthday.

Salary: $55,000-60,000 NT

100 hours/month + 8 office hours/ week

Bachelor's degree, or Diploma with CELTA/TESOL/TEFL.
