ATTENTION NATIVE-SPEAKING SCHOOL TEACHERS

In the Primary English Programme the following positions are available:-
English Programme Science teacher
Teaching Science to Grades 1-3. Assisting Grades 2-4 with conversation and reading in small groups.
Kindergarten Teacher-
Teaching very young learners (age 5-7) in the English Programme as well as the regular program
Contact hours - no more than 18 per week.
Qualifications required – Bachelor’s degree with ESL or a degree in education and at least 1 year of teaching experience.
Contracts are initially for one year but may be extended provided all parties are satisfied.
Salary starts at 30,000 Baht per month. The school also provides accident and health insurance of 20,000 Baht per year and will pay for one incoming airfare from your country of origin. At the end of each full year of teaching a bonus of 24,000 Baht will be paid.
Other Basics:
2,000 Baht/ month for teachers already living and teaching in Thailand
Work Permit, renewal, extension, Assistants in finding housing,
On the job teacher training, Free lunches,
Free high speed Internet, Air conditioned office and classrooms,
Wonderful students, Excellent Thai staff/team teachers Over 6 weeks paid vacation, Within minutes of beautiful beaches, waterfalls and mountains.
As you can see these are SOME of the reasons I have been at this school for 4 years and most of our teachers stay longer than 1 year. (7 years, 3 years, 4 teachers on 2 years) One year is the minimum you must commit yourself to working here. We take pride in our work place and community. Srithammarat Suksa is a Christian school which was founded 100 years ago by Presbyterian missionaries and remains under the jurisdiction of the Churches of Christ in Thailand.
