Teach English in Chile-Gov't and UN Sponsored Programs in 2010!
Participate in the English Opens Doors volunteer program, an initiative of the Chilean Ministry of Education and the United Nations Development Program!

Make a difference by teaching English in public elementary and high schools throughout Chile starting in 2010.

Four, six, eight, and ten month programs are availabe in addition to two short term-summer programs.

The Ministry of Education offers all volunteers:

• A monthly stipend of CLP 85.000
• Accommodations and meals with a host family.
• All-expense paid orientation in Santiago, which includes TEFL workshops, Spanish lessons, and cultural activities.
• All-expense paid regional orientation
• In country transportation.
• E-blended Spanish Course
• Classroom Materials and More!

All volunteers must contribute 100.00 USD a month for comprehensive mandatory health insurance coverage and associated administrative costs. However, please be aware that monthly stipend payments outweigh the costs of this contribution.
