Our institution, Centro Cultural Costarricense Norteamericano, a Costa Rican non profit institution dedicated to the teaching of English as a Foreign Language in search of national expansion, with a faculty of over 100 teachers is seeking qualified candidates for an ACADEMIC DIRECTOR.
The position reports directly to the Excecutive Director and is responsible for the development, planning, direction and supervision of academic programs, ensuring their quality as well as their growth. Responsible for the organization of the "National Conference for Teachers of English" and promotion of the relationships with North American Universities, TESOL Inc., and other foreign institutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background with an M.A. in the Teaching of English and/ or Education; a minimum of a five year experience in teaching and curriculum development and progrmas administration. Background in management and marketing is desirable.
