English Language Training Instructor

Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, English or modern language. If the degree is other than these, studies must have included teaching methodology and practice in classroom teaching. When the ELT instructor is from a non-English speaking country, he shall possess a TEFL/TESL training certificate from an institution in a country where English is the native language. Preference is give to ELT applicants who have teaching experience in the Middle East, experience-teaching speakers of Arabic, experience in course planning and instructional materials development.

Experience:
Seven (7) years’ experience in the RSAFSC or equivalent is required, of which three (3) years must have been at the seven-(7) level. Three (3) years language teaching experience with the most recent experience no more than two (2) years prior to the date of hire is mandatory.
