JOB VACANCIES

Applicants are invited for the following (Male and Female) faculty positions as Associate/Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Instructor/Teacher at University College - Yanbu, Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah, Saudi Arabia for September 2006, February 2007, as well as September 2007. Applicants should possess relevant Doctorate (PhD/EDD)/ Master (MS/MA)/ Bachelor (BS/BA) Degrees with suitable academic and related experience. The medium of instruction at the college is strictly ENGLISH. Applications from candidates, who have excellent English, in the following areas are welcomed:

1. ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (EFL) FACULTY
Preferably native English language speaker. Should have any PhD/MS/MA/BS/BA and TEFL/TESL certification from a recognized institution plus related experience of minimum 2 years.
2. APPLIED LINGUISTICS AND TRANSLATION FACULTY
Preferably native English language speaker. Should have PhD/MS/MA in Applied Linguistics, English, or Arabic/English Translation for Associate/Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer & Lecturer positions. Two years of relevant teaching experience is a must. Candidates are expected to teach Bachelor degree courses in Applied Linguistics or Arabic/English Translation, work on curriculum development activities as well as other college assignments.
Package:
 Attractive Salary, depending on qualification and experience, plus Local Transportation Allowance, Free Furnished Housing, Healthcare coverage in RC Hospital, Round trip ticket to place of origin up to four person every year and tuition fees for school age dependent children (6 to 18 years old for 2 children) at International School equal to US curricula is offered for non-Arabic speakers.
 60 Days Annual Summer Vacation
 Initially, Two Years Contract, Renewable annually with merit increase.
