FLS International invites applications for the position of Academic Director for our Intensive English Program at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, California. The Academic Director will report directly to the Center Director. Responsibilities include: assisting with the daily administrative and academic operations; hiring teachers and scheduling classes; teaching classes and programs; training and supervising the teaching staff; coordinating relations with overseas advisors and college officers; participating in marketing efforts; working in close cooperation with the central administrative office and providing counseling and transfer assistance to students.

Candidates should possess at least two years of administrative experience, preferably in an EFL/ESL or other educational environment. Experience in EFL/ESL instruction and working with fiscal and personnel management are also preferred. The candidate must possess strong verbal skills and computer literacy. Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer-service orientation are required. International work experience is a plus. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure and to prioritize duties.
