$20-34.00/contact hour. ESL Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon the needs of the District. We accept application material year-round from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis. ESL Instructor hiring is based on student demand. We offer day, evening, and weekend classes. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year. As a rule, ESL Instructors may not work in excess of 19.5 hours each week.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or relevant experience teaching a variety of ESL courses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to academic excellence, exceptional service, and providing a dynamic climate for lifelong learning
Preferred:
• Prior community college teaching experience
• Experience with international students
