EXCITING PART-TIME ONLINE JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR QUALIFIED TEACHERS!

ETS IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING QUALIFIED TEACHERS AND INDIVIDUALS AS PART-TIME RATERS TO SCORE ONLINE FOR THE TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE INTERNET-BASED TESTING (TOEFL IBT) SPEAKING AND WRITING PROGRAMS.

Qualified Raters are teachers or individuals with a B.A. or M.A. (preferred) degree from an accredited college or university and two years experience assessing spoken or written English and/or are qualified in English language teaching.

TOEFL iBT is a comprehensive assessment of communicative competence that includes all four-language skills: Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. TOEFL iBT will begin scoring in the fall of 2005.

TOEFL iBT Raters will use the ETS online Scoring Network TM (OSN) system to evaluate Speaking or Writing responses from their home computer. Approved applicants will self-train and certify online. Successful certification is required to become a Rater. Training and certification will begin in the fall of 2005. Multiple scoring sessions will occur throughout the year.
