JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Teach ESL classes to international teens and young adults participating in 2-4 week summer group programs.
•Teachers must be comfortable using communicative/interactive approach, and teaching beginning to advanced levels.
•Hours: 9 am – 12:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
•Program length varies from 2 weeks to 6 weeks depending on location and enrollments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
•Previous ESL Teaching experience focused on student-centered learning required
•Knowledge of major sightseeing attractions in nearest major city.
•Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with multi-cultural groups.
•Native English speaker.
•Must be a U.S. citizen as AETS is not able to provide work visa assistance.

WAGE: $14-16/hour depending on experience.
If desired, room and board in exchange for Resident Advisor responsibilities.

NOTE:Only candidates who have lived or worked near the universities or in the cities where we operate will be considered as local staff provides added value to students. AETS does not provide for travel or moving expenses.

St. Xavier University: July 6 – July 26 (3 weeks)
Loyola Marymount University: July 3 – August 4 (5 weeks)
Manhattanville College: July 3 -August 11 (6 weeks)
Simmons College: July 3 – August 11 (6 weeks)
SF State University: June 26 – August 10 (6 weeks)

INTERVIEWS:
St. Xavier: March 24 and 25 only
Loyola Marymount: March 29 and 30 only
Manhattanville College: Week of April 17
Simmons College: Week of April 24
SF State University: Week of May 1
