Description: Part time English Coordinator needed for a group of colegios subvencionados (semi-private primary and secondary schools) in Santiago, Chile to work as part of a team of 4 coordinators under central direction to implement a "Plan de Mejoramiento" during the 2012 school year (late Feb-Dec/Jan). Additional teaching hours available. Strong possibility of full time coordination starting in July 2012. Requirements: Interest in education as a vehicle for positive social change 5 years experience teaching English as a foreign language Experience with secondary students (high school/media) 120 hour TEFL certificate, or equivalent degree, Masters in TESOL or related field preferred Excellent communication (oral/written) in English and Spanish Excellent organizational skills Excellent problem solving skills Ability to work independently to achieve set goals Ability to adapt to ambiguous work conditions Prior supervisory experience a PLUS Come be part of a team working to make a difference in the quality of English programs offered in our schools, thus amplifying the future opportunities of our students.
