ESL/ESOL TEACHER, K-6 PART-TIME
The Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School seeks qualified candidates to fill the position of ESL/ESOL Teacher K-6, a part-time position for the 2011-2012 academic year. (Job Code EL100)
The ideal candidate has considerable knowledge of second language teaching/learning methods and techniques, and the ability to work effectively with ELL students and their families and other school staff in organizing and implementing a high quality ESOL instructional program.
Position requires a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field, and a minimum of two years successful formal teaching experience in a public or independent school. ESOL/TESOL certification or endorsement and fluency in Hebrew language preferred.
