POSITION: HEAD OF ACADEMIC Main Responsibilities: • Responsible to the Principal for the execution of the academic policies of School; • Responsible for manpower planning and allocation of teaching staff for the School. • Oversee academic matters of the school including interpreting the IGCSE syllabus and examinations, preparing exam schedules, implementation of internal and external exams. • Assist in the planning and development of academic programs and pedagogy, and provide guidance to subject heads and teachers to ensure that proper procedures are maintained; • Advise on the best practices and standards of an International School and other information as may be necessary for the performance of the School’s functions Requirements: • Must have a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. • Overall experience of 10 years in teaching upper secondary students and 5 years of school management experience. • Experience in IGCSE syllabus and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). • Retired Principals and Deputy Principals are encouraged to apply.
