One is located downtown Hsinchu, and the other one is located in Jubei, a sparkling new city right north of Hsinchu. Both branches would be about 1.5 hrs away from Taipei. Hsinchu is a very progressive and modern mid-sized city, conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from Taipei on the high-speed bullet train, or about 70 minutes away by bus or train. It is considered the Silicon Valley of Taiwan and is where many top universities are located. There are also lots to do and see if you are into outdoors activities. Hsinchu is actually a very pretty area surrounded by various interesting landscapes, including mountains and a beach. Jubei, the new suburban center of Hsinchu area, is a blooming area in recent years. It is very modern with the convenient lifestyle of a big city, but not too crowded and congested with traffic. Better yet, from Jubei you can reach the mountains or the sea in 30 minutes. It is a beautiful place to stay. Also nearby is the Hsinchu County Sports Center, with gyms, swimming pools, warehouse discount stores and restaurants. This is an ideal job for someone who wants to work hard during the week, save up a bit of money, and have fun on the weekends. Since you do not have work on Saturdays, you will have ample opportunity to travel around the island or travel to other exotic locations like Thailand, Hongkong, or Philippines.
