------>> STOP! THESE TEACHERS NEED YOUR HELP! <<------
------------------------------------------------------

http://www.esl-jobs-forum.com

Your colleagues are looking for guidance and help from
fellow professionals. Take a minute and help them out!

--> Guy Courchesne writes...Tragedy again in Bali

...More bombs in Bali the other day. I certainly hope that
none of our colleagues out there were hurt. I know it is a
popular spot for Aussies and vacatioing teachers in the
region...

http://www.esl-jobs-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=810#810

--> zub writes...London teacher to work in Chicago

...Can anyone recommend any good teaching organisations in
Chicago to apply to? I have a tefl certificate. What visa
should I apply for?

http://www.esl-jobs-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=800#800

--> cain_cain writes...Should I take a Job in Moscow??

I hope someone out there can help me, just completed my
CELTA recently and have been offered a position in Moscow
wuth a company Called EF English First. The school is in
Zhulebino which i think is on the outskirts of the city, am
a bit dubious about this. I don't want to end up in some
hell-hole! Any advice or info would be great.

new cultures, tastes and lifestyles. But what if that single
teacher has a kid?

===================================================
4. From the Field - Dressing the part
===================================================

Look, I don't want to sound like an old fuddy but frankly I
think a teachers should dress like, well, a teacher. What I
mean is that a teacher in shorts and a t-shirt, a teacher
with a bare midriff or a mii-skirt that barely covers the
essentials has no place in the classroom.

I know we live in an age when dressing down is more common
than dressing up, at least in certain parts of the world,
but a teacher needs to command respect. A teacher needs to
needs inspire confidence.
Okay, so dress is only a surface sign, but it is important
all the same. It is a sign that you respect the role of the
teacher...
