EFL Professor, Universidad Tecnologica de la Mixteca (UTM) Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, Mexico University position with attractive benefits (annual bonus, savings plan, pension, healthcare, five weeks paid holiday) in rural southern Mexico. Teachers teach 3-4 classes daily and have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of the faculty and the local community. Huajuapan de León is a city of about 80,000 people situated in the beautiful state of Oaxaca. Start date " late February, 2012. Qualifications: Native-English speakers only. Successful applicants will have a B.A. + CELTA/TEFL Certification or an M.A. in a relevant field and at least two years of classroom teaching experience, preferably overseas with young adult students. Aside from providing quality instruction to students, the department focuses on both professional and community development and we are looking for motivated, self-starters who are willing to participate in projects outside of classes. Spanish ability and experience in TOEFL or Cambridge FCE exams is a plus. Location: University/college campus in Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca Wage: Approximately $11,000 " 13,500 MXN per month NET, depending on credentials, which is a very competitive local salary.
