English Tutor Grades 3-7

We are looking for American English teachers for our online learning program that services students in South Korea. We require a goofy, happy and funny teacher that can also bring a solid resume to the table.

Teachers need to be outgoing, energetic, conversational and have a background in English, teaching, ESL. Please, if you do not actually have experience TEACHING STUDENTS ENGLISH, do no apply. We will not consider applicants that do not have degrees, teaching qualifications (TESOL is acceptable) and experience tutoring and teaching.

Qualifications:

Teaching certification or degree in English, literature,
online, in school, tutoring or homeschooling experience
experience working with Asian students and culture preferred
Online experience preferred
Teaching hours would be in the very early morning 3am-9am EST as our students live in Asian time zones. Mount and Pacific timezones will not be considered. We do not want to ask our teachers to work overnight hours. Hourly rates start at $15/hour and increase based on experience. There are also bonuses and commission in addition to the hourly rate. We hire teachers in cohorts of 3-5 people-- we fill your schedule so the work is worth it.

We are a family company, so teachers that come onboard with us now will have good chances at renewal, highly rate for student onboarding and equity/ stock options down the road (as our first round of teachers already have).
